Historie

The foundation was registered on 12 October 2023 in Kyiv (reg. no. 40407810). Even before its founding, the team behind the foundation ran cultural projects: in 2022, together with the Zakarpattia Film Commission NGO, we organized free screenings of Ukrainian patriotic films for civilians and internally displaced people in the Zakarpattia region.

In 2026 the foundation went international: it held the Ukrainian Independence Film Days festival in Drammen, Norway, and joined the international Yellow-Blue Butterflies action. In 2027 the programme in Norway continues with Ukrainske filmdager.
