About the project
Ukrainske filmdager 2027 continues the 2026 Ukrainian film days in Drammen. The project explores Ukrainian history and social life through films and conversations: who tells the story, whose experience is included and what is left out of the frame.
The programme consists of August screenings in Drammen and Tønsberg, nine classics screenings with Drammen Filmklubb throughout the year (Vertov, Dovzhenko, filmmakers of the 1990s), a programme of award-winning Ukrainian short films and 19 podcasts with Norwegian subtitles. Films are shown with English subtitles.
